In increasingly complex and collaborative workplaces, teams require structured approaches that make thinking visible, strengthen inclusive participation and translate dialogue into strategic action.

Many teams struggle not through lack of expertise, but through misaligned communication, unstructured meetings and ideas that remain invisible.

I design and facilitate structured visual systems that surface implicit thinking, reduce conversational overload and align teams around shared priorities and next steps.

Challenges

Invisible Thinking

Valuable insights stay internal, assumptions go unspoken and opportunities for deeper thinking are missed.

Unequal Participation

A small number of voices dominate dialogue while other perspectives are not fully explored.

Misaligned Communication

Team members leave the same discussion with different interpretations of priorities and next steps.

Systems in Action

Structured Collaboration

Structuring meetings with visual frameworks that surface assumptions and align thinking.

Inclusive Communication

Introducing dialogue structures that widen participation and ensure diverse perspectives are heard and influence direction.

Collective Thinking

Using visual thinking tools to externalise complexity and strengthen shared understanding.

Clarity in Direction & Decisions

Translating dialogue into aligned decisions and clear next steps.

My Approach

Observe

Looking and listening for patterns in meetings, dynamics and communication flow.

Diagnose

Identifying root causes, friction points and hidden asumptions.

Design

Creating tailored visual structures that organise thinking and align direction.

Embed

Equipping leaders and teams to use the systems consistently.

Review

Reviewing impact and refining practices for sustained improvement.

My edutainment company EYEYAH! has worked with Nicki on a couple of occasions and each time it has been a great experience. She was able to visualise a complex stakeholder Roundtable for our tech client. She was flexible with iterations and both client and us were really happy with the final product. She also acted as education consultant on a toolkit we designed for youth online safety. She was able to contribute from the perspective of both a teen and an educator. We consider Nicki a valuable specialist extension to our team and we look forward to working with her again.

Nicki's knowledge, expertise and experience produced an incredibly useful "how to study" course for UWCSEA students studying the IBDP. Digging into cognitive science, effective learning strategies and her own research, Nicki made the course fun, engaging and genuinely helpful for hundreds of students, which will turn into thousands in years to come. Her professionalism and flexibility was very much appreciated, and she was (and still is) a valuable partner for the college. Thank you Nicki!

Working with Nicki has been an absolute joy, bringing together visuals to captivate my stories and experiences for a series called 25 Questions for 2025. The project and this whole conversation has got people thinking about the power of combining words and images to engage and spark ideas.
